SVCC Club Rules

  1. That the Organisation be called “The Saxon Valley Championship Club” For the benefit of these rules will be referred to as “The Organisation”

  2. The radius of “The Organisation to be 30 Miles from British Railways Station Stowmarket. The H/Q of all clubs and individual members addresses must be within radius.

  3. The Officers of this Organisation shall consist of :- A, President, Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and assistants if required, to be elected annually from members.

  4. An emergency committee shall consist of the President, Chairman, Secretary, & six duly elected members.

  5. Annual General Meeting for the election of officers and fixing of local & domestic rules must be held annually. The Secretary of “The Organisation” must notify all members six weeks prior to the AGM of the date, time, & place of the meeting. Notifications must be in writing. Voting would be based on 1 club, 1 vote. Proposals for alterations or additions to local or domestic rules must ne made in writing, & clubs must ensure that they are in “The Organisation” Secretaries hand at least        28 Days prior to the AGM.

  6. Each members Club Secretary must send on or before March 1st to                              “The Organisation” secretary the names & addresses of each active member of his society along with race distances if different from the previous year, together with full postal address of the clubs H/Q where birds are marked & clocks set. In the case of new members joining after this date, these particulars must be sent to               “The Organisations” secretary at lease 7 days prior to competing in any race.

  7. Duplication allowed for individual members & members clubs

  8. Membership of individual members allowed. Applications are to be received 4 weeks prior to competing in any race other than “Open Races” Applications must confirm membership of the RPRA, & be accompanied by annual fees.

  9. Annual fees, Annual Subscriptions shall be £30 per season

  10. Any members club, or individual members whose membership for whatever reason would not be acceptable the following year will be notified by the 30th of September, or immediately after the AGM of the current year.

  11. Marking individual members:- Individual members will be allowed to have their birds marked & clock set with an agreed members club, or approved marking station. The agreed clubs marking times & rules would be strictly applied to. A premium for this service will be charged at the rate £1 per marking & setting. To be defrayed thus 70p to marking station & 30p to central control.

  12. All accounts to be settled by the 30th  of September each year. Race fees to be settled within 7 days of the race flown

  13. The financial year of “The Organization” ends on the 30th  of September.

  14. All appeals & matters requiring attention will be delt with by “The Organisation.”  The appealing party must at the time of the appealing lodge £5 with                        “The Organisation”  secretary, this will be forfeited if the complaint is found to be frivolous.

  15. “The Organisation” committee reserves the right to ask any questions which arise, which is not covered by the rules or standard rules of the RPRA.

  16. Notice of appeal to the RPRA must be given in writing to “The Organisation” Secretary and the East Midland Centre Secretary within 21 days of the notification of the organisations decision.

  17. Members may attend all meeting of the “The Organisation” as spectators. Only elected officers & official delegates of members clubs may speak & take part in the business of the meeting.

  18. The committee shall have the power to suspend any member found guilty of misconduct, or of anything which is derogatory to the interest of the “The Organisation”

  19. Any mandate delegate putting forward a proposal through the chair, must have a seconder from another club. All such proposals shall be recorded in the name of the club & not the delegate.

  20. The date of the AGM shall be fixed at the previous AGM.

  21. The committee has the power to decide within the boundary of the RPRA rules circumstances that may arise & not be covered by above rules.

  22. Results:- All results from clock stations to be in the secretary’s hands within 72hrs after being opened. Copies of the official result to be sent to each clock station.              Any objections are to be made, in writing within 7 days.

  23. That All SVCC members be limited to 4 birds only in the result. Except where there is prize money involved & any NRCC race, then unlimited entries
