Avian Influenza Latest Update 31st March

Another Outbreak Near Ipswich, Suffolk.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed on 28 March 2022 in poultry at a premises near Stowmarket, Mid Suffolk,. All birds on the premises will be humanely culled. A 3km Protection Zone and 10km Surveillance Zone has been put in place surrounding the premises (effective from 19:00 on the 28 March 2022).
