Dear Secretary & Members.

Just an update on the SVCC club after the AGM.

Transporter.

Our current Transporter is currently at Ray Goudy’s for an MOT.

Hopefully there will be no excessive repairs required.

I have been aware that we definitely need to replace the Window motor, I am waiting the cost on this.

New Transporter.

Kris Mulley has managed to source a Second hand “Geraldy” 3.5-ton vehicle & trailer, at a very competitive price.

The committee voted to purchase the Transporter combination using the recently raised amount from the On-line sale & Transporter fund.

The initial plan is to use it from Young Birds as there will be a change over of crates etc.

There will be a second set of crates available, more details on this will be available later in the year once all details have been confirmed.

YB Gold Ring Scheme

The Young Bird Gold Ring race will be held on the 13 September from either Aycliffe or Darlington.

There have been 300 rings purchased from the RPRA & I have currently sold 270 of these. If you know of any other members that are interested, please let me know.

2025 Fees

2025 Membership Subs are unchanged and stay at £30 for the year.

Races up to Driffield 70p per bird
